Grounds of Eagle's Wings Center

Spent the weekend camping with the American Heritage Girls North Austin group. Mary Rachel had a great time and the younger boys got a chance to play with friends. Joshua was recently promoted to Senior Patrol Leader for his Boy Scout Troop so he spent the weekend at Enchanted Rock.

He didn't get the chance but still wanted to give me something so after cake he brought out a gift bag and handed it to me. Inside was his iPod shuffle. You have to understand. This is his most prized possession. I couldn't hold the tears back....and no - I didn't keep it. I will always treasure this memory of the best present I've ever received.

In the words of Jack Bauer "There's No Time!!!". So I'm really thinking about what would be the best way to take this site. In the meantime I thought I'd go ahead and post a picture I processed with Nik Software Filters. I had the great opportunity to go to San Diego last week to Nik's offices and receive some training from Tony Corbell on these great products. This is one of my favorites from some portraits I took last year. I decided to re-process it using Nik's Filters and really like the way it turned out.
