Had a great day today participating in Help-Portrait Austin.  Mary Rachel spent the afternoon with me and was lucky enough to get her hair and make-up done by some of the students from the Paul Mitchell school.  She loved it!  After she was all dolled up I grabbed an open station - one that had constant lights - and took these pictures.  They are some of my favorites of her...

So, the photography bent on this site does not seem to be going so well.  In the words of Jack Bauer "There's No Time!!!".  So I'm really thinking about what would be the best way to take this site.  In the meantime I thought I'd go ahead and post a picture I processed with Nik Software Filters.  I had the great opportunity to go to San Diego last week to Nik's offices and receive some training from Tony Corbell on these great products.  This is one of my favorites from some portraits I took last year.  I decided to re-process it using Nik's Filters and really like the way it turned out.
